Itinerary

Day 0  you will be picked up from Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport and Check in to hotel in Haridwar 

Day 1: Haridwar – Mussoorie – Barkot (200 km, 07 hrs drive)

On Day 1, Morning after breakfast, SHUBH ARAMBH AARTI and begin your journey to Barkot/Syanachatti. Enroute, enjoy a brief halt at Mussoorie and Kempty Falls. After the scenic stop, continue your drive to Barkot and check-in at your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Important places to visit: Mussoorie, Kempty Falls, Lakhamandal

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri (Return)
On Day 2, after breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti and start the 7 km trek to Yamunotri. Visit the sacred Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. You can take a dip in the Surya Kund hot water spring and cook rice in it for blessings. After darshan, return back to Janki Chatti and proceed to Barkot for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (115 km, 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, which is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and visit the Vishwanath Temple in the evening.
Important places to visit: Vishwanath Temple, Shakti Temple

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km each side, 3.5 hrs drive)
Post-breakfast, head towards Harsil, a picturesque valley. Enroute, halt at Gangnani to experience the hot water springs. Continue to Gangotri, the source of the Ganges River (Bhagirathi). Take a holy dip in the river and perform pooja at the Gangotri Temple before returning to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptakashi – Sitapur (210 km, 8 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive towards Guptakashi, a beautiful town in the Garhwal region, known for its temples. After reaching, check in at your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Important places to visit: Guptakashi Temple, Ukhimath Temple

Day 6: Sitapur – Gaurikund – Bhimbali – Lencholi – Kedarnath (10 km by road, 18-20 km by trek one way)
On Day 6, after breakfast, drive to Sonprayag for a medical check-up, and then proceed to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Begin the trek to Kedarnath and arrive at the sacred Kedarnath Temple. After darshan, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Important places to visit: Gauri Mata Temple in Gaurikund, Kedarnath Temple, Evening Aarti, Bharav Baba (Helicopter service also available for Kedarnath).

Day 7: Kedarnath – Sitapur
On Day 7, retrace your steps back and trek to Sonprayag, where you will drive to Sitapur/Guptkashi. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 8: Sitapur – Badrinath (220 km, 8 hrs drive)
After breakfast, embark on your journey to Badrinath. On the way, halt at Chopta, known as the “Switzerland of India,” for breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. Once in Badrinath, check into your hotel and rest.
Important places to visit: Guptkashi Temple, Ukhimath Temple, Chopta, Narsing Temple in Joshimath

Day 9: Badrinath – Joshimath/Pipalkoti (55/80 km, 2/4 hrs drive)
In the morning, witness the stunning Neelkanth Peak. Visit Tapt Kund, where you can take a holy dip before your darshan at the Badrinath Temple. Afterward, proceed to Mana Village—the last village on the Indo-China border. Return to Joshimath for an overnight stay.
Important places to visit: Badrinath Temple, Tapt Kund, Bhrama Kapal, Narad Kund, Sheshnetra, Mata Murti Temple, Mana Village (Bheem Pul, Ganesh Gufa, Vyas Gufa)

Day 10: Joshimath/Pipalkoti – Rishikesh – Haridwar (260/220 km, 9/8 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. In the evening, visit Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, and enjoy the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Afterward, drive to Haridwar and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
